We planned a lot. While making plans, we became frustrated with the situation and finally said, "Yes, we are meeting now." So, we decided to go on this date.
She was going to meet her friend at the college where she was studying. I forgot to mention one thing about this friend. When her family found out that she was talking to me, they separated her from her college friends. They stopped her from going to college and made her stay at home and stop her studies. They did this so that she would not go somewhere or run away with me.
Somehow, she managed to go out once and came to meet me with her friend.
I also got into my car with one of my friends. We left the house early in the morning and traveled to her city. I had some contact with her, and I searched for her with great difficulty. After looking here and there, I finally found her around seven o’clock.
In those days, it was very scary for a girl to sit next to a boy like this, especially in a car, because society was very strict. People would notice if a girl was sitting with an unknown man. This was not Europe or America; I am talking about a country where such things were very difficult and could create serious problems.
She sat with me, and we kept driving around for a long time. We did not go to many places because we had relatives living nearby. If someone had seen us, it could have become very dangerous for both of us.
So, we just stayed in the car and kept talking. We talked for a long time. She cried a lot, and I cried a lot too. I was deeply worried that our relationship might not succeed.
She was also very upset because neither her family was agreeing, nor was my family willing to continue the discussion because we had already had many arguments.
She became very emotional. She gave me a piece of bubble gum that she used to carry with her. She brought it out and said, "I ate this." When I started chewing it, she took the bubble gum from my mouth and put it into her own mouth.
She said, "I have been thinking about doing this for so long. Why would I stop myself when I love you so much?"
My friend, who had come with me, was also worried after seeing her condition. He said, "You should run away. You both should run away and get married."
But the reason we could not do that was because we were relatives. If we did something like that, we would face humiliation from our families for the rest of our lives. The main question was not only whether our marriage would work or not, but how we would live afterward.
If our families supported us or told us, "Go and live wherever you want," then maybe it would have been possible. But our families were the kind of people who would try to bring us back. They would never allow her to live with me after running away and getting married because such a thing was considered very shameful.
Well, we met, but we were both very worried. We decided that we would meet again.
When she was about to go back, suddenly she received a call from one of her friends. Her friend asked her where she was and what she was doing. She happily told her that she had come to meet me. Her friend was also very happy for us.
That girl often called us at her house and talked to me. Sometimes she would make a conference call with me and talk to her. She would stay quiet in between, and we both would keep talking.
Well, when her friend asked where she was, she told her that she had come to meet me. It was a great joy for us, but this happiness was only for a short time.
When my soulmate returned to her home, her brother had already found out that she had come to meet me because the same girl whom we trusted so much had told everything to her brother. Maybe that girl did not have a close relationship with her brother, so she told him everything. Even though that friend was my soulmate's friend, she still shared everything with him.
Her brother beat her badly. He beat her so much. I had given her some gifts, a hug, a bottle, and some other things. Her brother threw all those things away, and she was beaten a lot.
After that, we could not talk for a long time.
When I reached home, her mother called my father. Her mother complained to my father, saying, "Your son has done this. He came to meet her today. He does not care about our honor."
My father called me. After talking to me, my father reminded me that he had already spoken about our relationship, and if it was accepted, then everything would be okay. That day passed, and we waited for a long time. It was not a matter of just a few months.
After some months, she went to her maternal uncle's house. Her maternal uncle cared about her a lot. He called her back, and then she and I talked for a long time. We were very worried, and we had many conversations about our situation.
But during this time, my visa for Europe arrived. My father was not a criminal, and he sent me there. I got my visa and prepared to leave.
I told my family to talk about our relationship again. My family said that they would talk about the previous matter again.
Her father said, "We will think about it after some time and tell you."
I thought that maybe he would think about it and then tell me, "Yes, we agree with you both." I thought that she would start earning well and that we would go out and build our future.
