The Glade of Forgotten Names

While filming in the eerie, ancient forest of Black Ridge, documentary editor Nael gets trapped in a shifting landscape hunted by face-less heat entities. The forest lures its victims by recording and mimicking their voices, memories, and loved ones to steal their identities. By closing his eyes and ignoring the auditory illusions, Nael uses the slope of the land to escape across a river to safety—only to find an audio file on his empty camera card of his own voice promising, "I'm coming back tomorrow."
