Hazrat Sayyiduna Umar Bin Al-Khattab رَضِىَ اللّٰەُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ said, to a man who was thinking of divorce his wife ;

“Why do you want to divorce her?”

He said. ‘ I don't love her anymore ’

Hazrat Umar رَضِىَ اللّٰەُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ said, “Must every house be built of love? what about loyalty and appreciation?”

He went on…. “You men , when we marry , we give a serious promise to her . A woman gives birth to children and goes through hard times during her pregnancy . The she suckles the baby and takes care all nights about her children when they get sick or need anything . She sacrifices her beauty and youth for being a mother. How fair is it, when her husband leaves her , when she is grown up ? If she would have never take care of her home and family , instead of taking care of her of her body and beauty , her husband would say , ‘What a mother she is?’ Where is integrity and loyalty ? Fear Allah regarding your behavior towards your wives”.

A marriage don't run only on the wheel of love, beauty and attraction but on loyalty , care , integrity , responsibility and command of Allah Almighty . It's not a boyfriend girlfriend play but it's a real relationship built on Sunnah And Shariah . It's a real life test , which you have to pass in any way. Taking care of each other’s feeling and needs is a foundation upon which marriage place and grow .

So, don’t look at her beauty look at her needs and sacrifices which she gives for your home.
