1. You Own Your Content
ArticlePaid is an open platform where independent writers, journalists, and storytellers can share their voices. Like similar open-publishing networks, our core philosophy is that creators should always maintain control of their intellectual property.
Content Rights & Licensing
You retain full legal ownership of everything you publish on ArticlePaid. By posting your content, you simply grant us a non-exclusive license to host, distribute, display, and monetize (if opted into our Partner Program) your work across our platform and algorithms. You are free to publish your work elsewhere at any time.
2. The Partner Program & Distribution
Authors have the option to place their articles, opinions, stories, and books behind our metered paywall to earn money. Earnings are calculated dynamically based on member read-time, engagement metrics, and positive reader interactions.
Curation: Not all published content is widely distributed. To be featured on the ArticlePaid homepage, in topic feeds, or in our daily digests, your content must meet our high editorial standards. High-quality, properly formatted, and original works are prioritized by our distribution algorithm.
3. Accepted Content Formats
Our platform supports a wide array of written expression. Ensure your submissions align with the correct category:
Articles & Journalism
Informative, well-researched pieces designed to educate the reader.
- Fact-checked and accurate.
- Properly cited sources.
- No clickbait or sensationalized headlines.
Opinions & Essays
Subjective analysis, cultural critique, or personal viewpoints.
- Must be categorized as Opinion.
- No libel or defamation.
- Constructive, logical discourse.
Stories & Fiction
Creative writing, short stories, poetry, and narrative fiction.
- 100% original creative property.
- Trigger warnings for sensitive themes.
- No unauthorized fan-fiction.
Books & Serialized Works
Full-length manuscripts, guides, and episodic chapters.
- Rigorous proofreading required.
- Legally obtained cover art.
- Clean formatting and chapter breaks.
4. Prohibited Behaviors & Content
To keep the ArticlePaid ecosystem valuable for paying readers, we strictly prohibit the following actions. Violating these rules will result in immediate demonetization and account review.
- Plagiarism: Copying content from other creators, websites, or books without permission.
- AI Spam Farming: Mass-publishing low-effort, unedited, AI-generated text solely to manipulate the Partner Program for earnings.
- Hate Speech: Attacking or demeaning protected groups based on race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation.
- Self-Promotion & SEO Spam: Articles that exist solely to backlink to external products, affiliate schemes, or act as advertisements.
- Doxxing & Harassment: Sharing private information or coordinating targeted harassment against other users or public figures.
⚠️ Absolute Right of Deletion & Moderation
Because ArticlePaid pays out financial earnings based on content performance, we enforce our quality and safety guidelines with zero tolerance to prevent fraud.
ArticlePaid reserves the explicit, absolute right to remove, unpublish, or permanently delete any article, opinion piece, short story, book manuscript, or user comment from the platform at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
If your content violates our Terms of Service (e.g., plagiarism, AI-spam, hate speech), it will be deleted immediately. Accounts found repeatedly violating these policies will face permanent suspension and the total forfeiture of all unwithdrawn Partner Program earnings.
