This article explore the narratives of Post-colonialism in George R.R. Martin’s fantasy novel A Game of Thrones. The novel is analyzed from an intersectional perspective of power hierarchy. The purpose of the study is to discover the degrees in which the power play of superior races is resisted and challenged by subordinate races. The research primarily focused upon the aspects of power, wealth and class. The research shows that hierarchies within societies exist in order to be influential and attain higher state of power. The rationale of writing this research is to correlate the experiences of despondent conditions of oppressed people to the wider arena of male dominant patriarchal society responsible for creating complexed conflicts. The research is qualitative in approach aims to search political, economic, social and cultural approaches to judge behavioral standards of society and challenging ways. The research paper helps the literary students of English Literature to explore ways the iconoclast writer tried to bring regeneration through literary contribution. 

                        The role of economy is considered an important aspect of any nation, culture or society. Most of the Modern world has abandoned the traditional warfare today’s wars are fought on the battle field of economy. Economic supremacy makes nation super power. We have example of USA in 20th century they became super power of the world by leading the economic world with their clear path toward supremacy they established industries, and reform America with their skills and clear aim to be economically strong and independent.

                        Martin’s depiction of medieval like world politics revolve around economy just like contemporary society and politics. Few noble families control the wealth of Westeros and by controlling the economy they act as Gods of the realm.

The novel treats the psychology of politics demonstrating that version of economy can be understood as the pursuit of politics. It also helps us understand these problems in the context of Post colonialism and to take appropriate measure to overcome these challenges.

The book Post-Colonialism (2019) is written by Tariq Jaleez focused on the facts that the theory is a set of methodology for power and shape secondly it is concerned with politics of representation of people and spaces and it is geographical intellectual enterprise. The aforementioned books and research articles are those which researcher believes to be essential for understanding of conflicts and their resolution with reference to the primary text in domain of the post-colonialism.

This article is based upon qualitative research methodology employed the approach of political inquiry to analyze the economy in terms of post-colonialism. The political inquiry essentially deals with intra and extra societal variables across nation such as institutional behavior, responsibility of state and governance.
