In Islam, success is defined through a beautiful, dual lens: achieving goodness, peace, and fulfillment in this world (*Dunya*), while ultimately securing salvation and paradise in the afterlife (*Akhirah*).

This balance is perfectly captured in one of the most frequent prayers in the Quran:

> *"Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."* (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:201)
