IPL cricket; They say health is wealth and this is why

Hello, good morning, I hope you're well and are in good health. Sports fans, we need to talk about an issue in the world of cricket, the IPL. The IPL, as you all know is seen as the pioneer of the one of the games more shorter formarts. You get the point I am making, the IPL is seen as the Creme de la creme of T20 cricket. For the past 15/17 years or so, they have been relatively unchallenged, but just over the past few seasons, I argue this is changing. PSL, the Pakistan Super League, is in it's 10th year, is still someway behind it's illustrious neighbour when it comes to a grand cricketing event, but they're getting closer to competing.

Granted they don't have the richers of the Indian Cricket Board, but what they have is a brand that's appealing to punters and players too. Less is sometimes more, the PSL is a tournament that lasts for just over a month, and that's perfect, why? It leaves me wanting more! The IPL, was like this season's UEFA Champions League, they've been catering too much to the money men.

Yes, money makes the world go round, but the cash cows, (the players), have a say in the matter. No players, no brand it's as simple as that. The PSL, with having less teams is more catrering to the players, the IPL although financially rewarding, is too long zand is arguably neglecting player well being.

It's a fine line, player well being or financial well being, which one would you go for?
