The hate for Babar needs to stop!
In the cricket world, he is one of the most polarising figures in the modern again, why? I am not quite sure. Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam, depending on who you ask, is one of the modern-day greats.

Others will say he is one of the modern-day great failures. It comes with the territory, I suppose. As a heterosexual man, I say he is a handsome chap, not Isco Alcaron handsome, but he's a looker.

All tongue-in-cheek comments aside, Babar, for all the hate, the man scores runs. Just look at the recently concluded PSL, where he was the top run getter, scoring 588 runs, which was and still is a joint record.

Babar Azam gets criticised a lot for 'selfish' scoring, but those same people seem to forget the 196 he scored against the Australian attack, which included Pat Cummins and Josh Hazelwood.

That innings was majestic as it was epic. Why do I mention this knock? Boys and girls, ladies and gents, with this knock, it broke the record for the highest runs scored by a test captain in the fourth innings.

Other players, senior players, struggle, but the cricket world doesn't bat an eyelid. Shadab Khan, Mohammed Rizwan and even Salman Agha, just to name some.  Babar isn't perfect, certainly as a captain, so although I am a fan of him, I would say captaincy isn't what Pakistan's number 56 needs, not just yet anyway.
